Re: Ep1 peeves (includes spoilers) —Todd Lehman
(...) When DM attacked QGJ on Tatooine, QCJ exhibited a believable sense of urgency as well as a fear for Anakin's life. And after DM impales QCJ in the final battle, OWK is extremely upset; he bounces in place, extremely agitated, waiting for the (...) (26 years ago, 23-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Ep1 peeves (includes spoilers) —Charles Spindell
My main peeve about Episode I was the way they left behind Anakin's mother. With the support of the Jedi Council and the fortunes of the planet, Naboo, I am sure someone could have bartered for the freedom of Shmi Skywalker at the end of the movie. (...)      The Shmi situation is supposed to come into play in the next movie and is supposed to help Annakin along towards the dark side.          Re: Ep1 peeves (includes episode 2 spoiler-maybe) —Eric Lind
Spoilerage One doesn't really know from the end of TPM how much time has elapsed between the end of the battle and the celebration.      (...) [SPOILERS/SPECULATION] : : : : : : I had to wonder how badly Shmi even really wanted to be freed.          Re: Ep1 peeves (includes episode 2 spoiler-maybe) —Charles Spindell
[SPOILERS/SPECULATION] I heard that Episode II will deal primarily with the Clone Wars and the love affair between Anakin and Amidala.        <SPOILERAGE> (hopefully this is enough) At the end of TPM, Yoda and Mace were discussing the Sith, and I believe that Yoda said "There are always two, a master and an apprentice."
