1)  The obligatory "Han shoots first!!".  OK, I feel better already.

Agreed,  I don't know of a single Star Wars Fan that likes this change.
Actually instead of "Han shoots first!!" it should say "Han doesn't give Greedo
a chance to think about pulling the trigger".  Han is a smuggler afterall not
some rightous do-gooder trading "spice" aka drugs (or whatever it was he
smuggled).

2)  The scene with Jabba/Han in "A New Hope" sucks.  Plain and simple.
Sucks.

Eh.. Doesn't bother me that much.  The forced "stepping on Jabba's tail" was a
bit painful but as a whole I don't mind the scene.

I actually like the Biggs Darklighter scene even less.  There is very little
context for this meeting when just taking into account the movie.  There is that
little referance in Luke's "But thats a whole nother year" megga whine but thats
it.  Besides I think this scene was bad acting even when taken in the context of
Star Wars and should have remained on the cutting room floor.

The rest of the add-ins were tolerable and understandable or you could at
least see what Lucas was attempting to do.  Still, it made me think of this
cartoon.

Quite funny... I think it says something that when you look at the origional
trilogy only one good new actor came out of the movies and the one established
actor made Lucas kill him off because he hated the role so much.  Of course
their is also "The Voice" but it is just a voice.

Lucss truely stumbled into Star Wars and got lucky in not directing Empire.
Once he got back in the directors chair each movie has taken another step closer
to ruining the franchise.  Lucas is the blind squirrel that found a nut, OK two
nuts I guess.  He could still bat .500 with the last movie still to be released
but I am not holding my breath.

(...) Can someone please refresh my memory as it has been a long, long time since I've watched the 1977 version of Star Wars. Its this correct. 1977 Version: Han Solo shoots Greedo without giving Greedo a chance to shoot. 1990s SE Version: Greedo (...) (20 years ago, 13-Oct-04, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

I'm guessing you refer to Ford, but Warwick Davis is one of the foremost little person actors, and Mark Hamill has made quite a name for himself as a voice talent (very few people even realize that he voices the Joker for Batman: The Animated (...)
