  Re: Tauntaun

Hey AC, The new version is really nice. It looks a lot less chunky than the original (Tuantaun diet?), and the viking horns work better than your original solution. Bruce (17 years ago, 10-May-07, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

(...) The new pieces which were not available yet when I did the first version definitely enhanced the head. The body was made leaner and the legs extended for a more accurate look.   Re: Tauntaun

This new version looks a bit more sportive - not sure if it's a diet, of the use of new pieces, or the fact you prove grey and bley can mix nicely to great effect.. Looks great anyway, was the first version also yours? (17 years ago, 9-May-07, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

(...) You're right of course. I knew of both yours and Mike's WW2 era X-Wings, and of Eric Poulton's blog as well. Wow! That is great. The architecture and sense of movement is stunning. You have really captured a moment very well. Sad about the troopers armed with rifles though. I guess you ran out of blasters. :) (17 years ago, 27-Apr-07, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)
