Well, by the same token, Princess Leia's used to go for what? Like $50+ bucks?
Which was back when she was only ever available in the original Millenium
Falcon. And she wasn't even chrome-plated! But with all the hype about there
only being 10,000 copies, presto! Insta-value!
I'm curious to see where the price goes, though. Right now they're going for
ballpark $100-$200 (last I checked), but will they go down or up in value?
Something tells me that the price will start dropping a bit as the market sees
more and more of these things, but then will start jumping upwards like all the
other no-longer-available Star Wars sets. Which means in a few years they might
be going for $300 or more! I wouldn't be suprised to see it happen, certainly.

| Seriously Folks, I was just curious to see if anyone had received an "Exclusive Gold Chrome C3PO" in any of their Star Wars sets and if they might be selling them on eBay. So I checked. There are idoits on eBay selling them for $200.00 at the Buy It (...) (17 years ago, 16-Aug-07, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.market.appraisal)
