A very odd instruction booklet error

I just finished building the Republic Cruiser (mmm, R2-R7...so tasty) and I
spotted a really weird goof in the second instruction booklet. If you turn to
page 65, in the bottom picture, there is something which is very clearly neither
one of the new blaster rifles nor the electrobinoculars falling out of the
portside storage container. Actually, there's a second, lesser goof on page 67,
where the same storage container is placed back in its socket incorrectly (the
doors should be facing fore and aft, not port and starboard, though it does
actually fit both ways).
