Classic space sets (or general) are those with minifigs in one color. The
rest are subthemes within the actual Space theme. Classic Space was no
subtheme, that was just Space.

I agree that what I would call "Classic Space" sets
would include any futuristic theme (Futuron, Spyrius, Unitron, Blacktron, • et
al, plus whad the Todd calls "Standard" but I call "Classic"...like
Coca-Cola!)

I just wanted to correct my typo...Todd calls it "General," not "Standard."
