If you re-flash a program with the same name, does it first erase the sectors that the old program was located in and then re-flash these sectors with the new program? (...) Standard Lego firmware samples every 3 msec. BricOS is much faster. I believe it is faster than once per second. RobotC on NXT is programmable to be 0.5 msec scan, 1 msec, 2 msec, ... up to 255 msec. Here's an idea of how to get more than 3 NXTs connected via Bluetooth (BT). It involves using a PC as a "relay point". I think standards allow up to seven simultaneous connections per BT device. I tried to plot power levels vs angular speed (in rad/s) and discovered goooood linearity ( remember how non-linear was RCX PWM)? In case anyone is interested, I figured out how to communicate via a bluetooth serial connection in OSX. The tricky part was figuring out that you have to create an incoming serial port device under Sharing in Bluetooth Preferences, open that (...) (18 years ago, 2-Aug-06, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

(...) Unfortunately no. NXT-G is currently a PPC app so it has to run under rosetta. Bluetooth is unavailable to apps running under rosetta. Has anyone got their NXT to work on one of the "new" Intel based Mac systems using the OSX operating system? Out of the box, I've heard NXT-G only supports USB connections on Intel Macs. At first I thought each student ought to have the experience of building each of the four models. It seems that having 9 kids choose one of four models and build it, saved us some time.
