The phone must allow use of Bluetooth for devices beyond just hands free
/ headsets.
The phone must support installable software of some form, (and the
operator must not have locked it too tightly). Whether native
applications or Java midlets, and they must have some access to
Bluetooth.
Quite a few cheap phones appear to be ruled out on both counts:
Bluetooth support only for headsets and no support for installable
applications.
At the other end, any phone for which there is navigation software that
works with a Bluetooth GPS receiver should be usable.
Cheers,
Tony
