Presently, one could use Microsoft's Robotics Studio (see
http://mynxt.matthiaspaulscholz.eu/tools/NXTRemoteControl/index.html for
instance) or NeXTTool by John Hansen (see
http://bricxcc.sourceforge.net/utilities.html).
