It varies greatly for me. When going to and from work, I listen to NPR.
When building, I have my mp3'z fired up, playing all sorts of different
genres, including:
Techno (Astral Projection, Juno Reactor, silly theme song remixes)
Dance/pop (Aqua, ABBA, etc)
Industrial (NIN, Gravity Kills, Stabbing Westward)
Punk/Ska (Green Day, Save Ferris, Ghoti Hook)
Blues/Rock (Blues Traveller, Dave Matthews)
and lots more, including some really esoteric stuff, like Bond, a danced up
string quartet from England, and lots of cheesy 80's stuff too. Listening
to my MP3's on random is a strange experience.
