Steve's point is correct. Even with a 2x4 above or below, you still need to
build the entire frame to hold the beam 2x4, then build the broomstick/bottom
2x4 too if you want pull it. If this option wasn't in the game, then players
only need a beam 2x4 and don't even need to joint it.
