Thanks!  I think this game will be a lot of fun.

Me too, I am really looking forward to it - and not just because I've
finally conned Jason into being my official programmer.  :)

I think we should take something like one RCX, three motors and then
triple or
quadruple the number to get a restriction.

Yeah!  That sounds really good.  Anyone else have any thoughts?  I'll take
the gear in to work tomorrow and report the findings.  Maybe we find some
nice nominal number near whatever that works out to be and call it that.

Well, I think one dimension restriction should be okay, ie, the length
idea you
have there.  I don't want to restrict the idea of clamping against the
vertical
support, or pushing against the floor.  Maybe draw a one foot sweep around
the
center of the 2x4, defining a cylinder?

Yeah, I like that (although not so much the cylinder since LEGO is
classically rectangular).  Or do like airline luggage - the sum of all three
dimensions cannot exceed x.

e should take something like one RCX, three motors and then (...) Just weighed on my handy-dandy Philips Essence kitchen scale - One RCX (1.5) with batteries and 3 standard RIS motors (no cables) is 376g. I'm curious how that compares with others. (...)
