Citing without intent to infringe, from an online version of same located

mark of Kloomok n. Official indication that a product

customer memorandum, a person who was trying to
emphasise the legitimacy of a product he was referring
to stated that it bore the mark of Kloomok.
It is said this guy sat in Armonk, or Yorktown, or Purchase, or somewhere...(2)

- - Long long ago there was a samizdat(3) file authored by IBM Fellow Mike Colishaw (4) called the IBM Jargon Dictionary. (5)
- - well, clearly, SOMEWHERE in Westchester County, NY...
- - after a while it wasnt a samizdat any more, it got Official IBM Blessing. Some say it was a lot less funny after that, as it got watered down.
- - inventor of REXX, and author of early conferencing/forum technology that ran on VM, and one of my heroes.
- - IIRC, it precedes the New Hackers Dictionary or Jargon File, another great publication
