West Michigan fared no better. The first Target I stopped at in
Kalamazoo had 4 or 5 clearance sets left on the shelves. The second
Target store had a bit more: a MindStorms Robotics Discovery Set
(bought it even though I just got one before Christmas), a bunch of
Technic motors (got one for my brother as a gift), and a few of the
$80 sets marked down to $50 (I picked up 6093 and 5986 because I
couldn't stand leaving without buying something!). But I didn't find
the two things that I wanted: MindStorms Extreme Creatures and
Robo-Sports! Argghh!
Anywho, I really liked the Ninja set. It's the first that I've picked
up so I may have to find some more. The Adventurers set was O.K. Very
playable for kids.
Big Lots, which usually has a few older sets, was absolutely cleaned
out this year. One of the two I checked on Sunday had absolutely no
LEGO at all.
Does anybody know when/if Meijer is going to start clearing out old
LEGO? The stores around here are full of it with no shelf space left.
It seems like they'll have to move it sometime soon.

| <whine> Hi all, Is it just here in Detroit, or does Target's post-Christmas clearance stock seem unusually sparse this year? I've been trying to buy up Space Simulation Stations, and across five Targets, I've found exactly one--wait, amend that, I (...)
