I hate inflated shipping and handling charges too. I won a Lego sith
infiltrator in an auction for really cheap, and I was pleased, until I found
out I had to pay $10 US to have it shipped to me, which including
'handling'. I was really surprised when I received the item, as it came in
a massive box. For a sith infiltrator. The box was about 2 feet long, a
foot and half deep and a foot and a half wide. I couldn't believe the guy
sent this to me, and when I got home I thought the box was empty because it
was filled to the top with those foam popcorn packing things. I had to dig
for the Lego box. There isn't a thin line between overkill and safe packing
of material.
