I couldn't disagree more.  Lego should go back to simplified minifigs, they
look much better.  I think it is a mistake for them to go away from the
classics they built their toy empire on.

Also, I have noticed that since I have been off of RTL (for about 9 months
now) a new breed of Lego Maniac has entered in both there and here.  It seems
that most of them *like* the new stuff, where some of the original people have
been more where I stand.  Nothing necessarily bad about this, it is just
something that I have noticed.

(...) I do like the classic minifigs, but I do like a lot of the new ones too. I'd love to see a re-issue of classic sets, but on the whole I'm pleased with the current line. Sure, town is looking terrible, and the last few years of space and castle (...) (26 years ago, 24-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)
