Rich, you don't have to answer this, as I know you have an employer who will
not like what I write below and you might not want to comment on it. :)

Why SHOULDN'T we be able to make references to insider/strangely obtained
information here?  This site is not owned by TLG.  It is not in partnership
with them, right?  If a gaming fan site on say ... the Playstation 2 ... got
some inside scoop into a new game coming out, wouldn't they post that info?
What good is being independent from and not affiliated with the company that
makes the product we are interested in, if we can't discuss/refer to things
not officially "approved" by them?  Is Todd working for the PR department for
TLG? Am I?

I don't get that at all.  Are lugnetters really that afraid of TLG? We are just
fans, right? When it comes down to it, we buy their product and we support
them.  Why CAN'T we talk about inside scoops?  Le the source of the information
deal with the consequances of revealing that information (getting fired,
reprimanded, etc.).  The community shouldn't suffer because of it, IMO.

Of course it is ok to reference an official pamphlet from a set. What is not
OK, is to reference information gained through unofficial means, like from a
TRU shipping form, or something like that. When it was taken off (what was
it, a month ago?), it was because someone posted information before anything
OFFICIALLLY was released by TLC. Having a pamphlet from a set is an official
release of information. Everyone has the potential of getting a set that
includes the pamphlet.
