So how many years ago did I coin the term SPUD
(single purpose useless decorative)? I believe
it was directed at the large Pirate items, rowboats
in particular.
The Bionicle torsos have a gear assembly: turn a wheel
in the back, and the arms go up and down.
In my mind, I think of the Slizers as what I would have
liked the old Micronaut toys to have been: interchangable,
expandable, etc. (Actually, I turned Blaster into a
reasonable looking Acroyear). I'm glad Bionicle is keeping
the same scale as the throwbots and adding more accessories
(claws, swords, etc). It's like the generic action-figure
construction set.
Oh, and ZNAP works well to make buildings and things for
the slizers to run around on and shoot each other.
Oh, and I have the throwbot leg and hip joints modelled
in LDRAW (unofficially). LMK if you need them.
Todd, can we have a Technic->Slizers newsgroup added?
