This looks like a good place to step in with my own, "what I've found in with
the Lego" story(ies).
First, Shiri, thanks for the plug, just remember, I did not pay you for it,
LOL. Seriously, imitation is the greatest form of flattery. Brad, you can use
the 8X3 triangle wing, like I used on the other version of the white pegasus.
The brown wings are VERY modified MB lion wings from the Big MB castle set.
Also involved in the process is some (small) Lego mutilation... I wont go into
details, this is a Family forum...
I buy stuff from Ebay, and thrift stores in the local area. I get grab bags
from most of them, but sometimes I get "sealed" buckets or other containers.
So, what have I found besides clones? Dolls, doll brushes, McDonald's happy
meal toys, G.I. Joe, (or some equivilent,) toy guns, (which sometimes with a
bit of modification, look really cool on Mechs,) crayons, ... I could go on
forever here. I think I just got some little round drawing thing in one today,
(differant weird shapes and stuff).
Most of the stuff I see, and just part out before I leave the thrift store,
and re-donate, because, well it's the nice thing to do. Other times I have to
wait till I get home or pull out stuff I get in from the mail.
