Hey, what about those of us who don't live in a corner of the country, like
along the northern edge instead? :)

There are some fests popping up that are more regional in nature. For example,
the event I produce, Brick Bash, is held here in Ann Arbor, Michigan, every
March and has attracted exhibitors from about 200 miles around. Brick Bash isn't
an AFOL fest, though, it's more of a public exhibition.

Chicago House of Bricks is another exmaple. I met AFOLs from across the country
there, but mostly they were regional folks (at least that's what I experienced
when I was there in 2005).

I don't think there can be too many. My Brick Bash will never measure-up to or
replace a nationally-attended event like Brick Fest. It's more of something to
do for those within a few hour's drive.

We even allow AFOLs from Ohio, but I'm sure they will receive a much colder
reception next time. ;)

Thats great and the regional/national events help to create more niche fests or
specialty displays and expos.

BTW, what is the master listing of world wide AFOL and LEGO events?

How many are there? Where are they all and when do they generally happen?
LUG Hosts? Org Hosts? AFOL Hosts? LEGO Hosts?

Can you buy a $12,000 pass and get an itinerary from Expedia?

Let's start a list, anyone:
