Hi all,
(There seems to be a Geocities problem with viewing the pictures. When
clicking on the links (doing the jump.cgi thing), you get a Geocities page
that says "These pages are not available for viewing." But, if you c&p the
link, or click on the page link, it works fine. Weird.)

3rd Person Character Account
As Jarek returned from the forest, he sat his things down by his bed and
turned, just as his crystal ball flickered and lit up with a fierce glare.
A message from the great Wizard, Gregor, flew across the glassy surface.
Jarek listened intently, and got a grave look on his face.

When the message finished, and his crystal dimmed, he went to his bookshelf
and got on his ladder, looking for one old book in particular. One written
long ago, passed down through the ages.

When he found the book he was looking for, he got down off his ladder, and
opened it. This was The History of the World, an ongoing writing started by
the original Mages of the Woodsmen's Guild many centuries ago. It talks of
an island shrouded in mist at the center of this world, where no man dares
venture, as he is never to return. Many thought these islands to be myth,
but as Jarek read on, and placed the text with the words Gregor had spoken,
things began to seem different. And, as he reached the last page, he
noticed something he had never seen before...

There was a tear in the back binding, and as he ripped it further, he found
an old, burnt shard of parchment with sketches and ancient runes on
it...this was a firsthand account of someone who was *on* the Island of
Mist, long ago. He didn't know how he knew, but he just did.

As he finished, he tucked the burnt parchment in his waistpouch, got his
things, and headed out to find Drake. This was a matter for him to know about.

| (...) a while back when i published the gregor tower pages, i mentioned wizards using crystal balls as a sort of majickal internet. a lot of cw balladeers liked the idea so here goes some majickal spam... the following is a trancript of a recent (...)
