(...) Thank you Ben for posting and a double thank you to Todd for making it so I can post again. Newsreader posts is my next objective. Anyways... I've added a few more folders of castle and misc village buildings to my website, (URL) . Direct (...) (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Some carts

(...) Jojo, I really like the harnesses on first and the yolks on the second. using the string like that really works well and makes a nice change to the usual lego hitchings. Good job - thanks (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

Fall like leaves! ...in... the fall! A study in color

First I must apologize for the dark pictures. It's late at night while I write this, and I don't have a good lighting set up at the moment. Anyway, after being inspired by (URL) THIS POST>, I decided to do a study for an article about foliage for (...) (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.town, FTX)

(...) I look forward to the article. (...) Nicely done. I like the birch ones in particular. This may end up being our only way to achieve fall trees. Jason Spears | (URL) BrickCentral> | (URL) MichLUG> (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

(...) They're good enough to convey intent, I'd say! (...) Very spiffy. I would suggest some mottling, though, as real trees (with some exceptions like red maples) tend not to be solidly one color. Usually a lot of one with some dapples of another. (...) (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

(...) Wow, it feels pretty cool to be considered an 'inspiration' on these! I like 'em. A lot! Something similar might have to show up on the GMLTC train layout at our next show. *grin* (John rumages through the bricks looking for yellow, brown, (...) (...) snip (...) Very good looking trees at minifig scale. I certainly wouldn't want to be a minifig standing under them when the "leaves" actually start to fall. THUD. Ouch! Alan ;) (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Some carts

(...) Not to be pedantic but the correct term for this sort of merchant is simply "tinker". A tinkerer is someone who plays around with mechanical things in his workshop. Just FYI. :) Ted (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  forum opinion

Hey all, I've been wondering about the forum here versus that at classic-castle.com. Do you think it's better to post at one place, the other, or both. For the last couple of days I've been trying to post there, because I think if that forum is (...) (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: forum opinion

(...) Actually, the .starwars forum used to have quite a bit of traffic, but FBTB forum kinda killed it. I still read .starwars and never read the FBTB forum. I think that those kinds of forums are bad for the community personally. They spilt it up. (...) (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: forum opinion

(...) Hi Bruce, Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. It's a topic that's been on my mind ever since the Classic-Castle announcement was made. I like the C-C site, and believe that it fills a lot of needs and wants of castle-heads, like me. I (...) (21 years ago, 20-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)
