I'm surprised that this hasn't been mentioned yet, but 'skins' wouldn't be
very hard to implement at all...in fact it HAS been done (although not in
this context *).  Simply make a two-dimensional part for each graphic and
create a Graphic or Decal category to store them.  All you have to do then
is place the part and then place the decal.

*    Somebody has created "parts" of several red cross decals that are
available SOMEWHERE on the net.  I used to have them before my harddrive
crashed and they were very nice.

Two small problems...

1. you have to create the graphic. For a complex torso this is hard. 2D helps
but there still are a lot of triangles. Hence my suggestion for an authoring
tool to help with this task.

(if MLCad could allow display a bitmapped background in one of the design
windows, it might be able to do what I discribed except for the edge
recognition and initial line suggestion)

2. Once you have it, you cannot place it exactly coplanar with the part, as
which triangles will show is problematic. You have to place it somewhat in
front of the part surface you want to put the "sticker" on.

Let's keep brainstorming, though
