I often have the Mode set to Pan instead of Edit (which disables the Add Part function, but not the Modify Part function), since you can still click/drag new (...) I'm mentoring several First Lego League teams. I built a sample lifting device using MLCAD to illustrate the principle of a parallelogram. I had it in sections and uploaded the mpd. Hi Michael, It is occasionally useful to be able to see the description of a part when it is hidden. I would like to suggest a new column, maybe to the left of "type", that has an icon depicting whether or not the line is hidden. Maybe a little eye (...) Michael, I recently noticed a couple of things in the newest version of MLCad, which behave differently from the previous versions. The problem moving pieces at strange angles is that the default movement is in x, y or z direction - not in the direction that they are rotated. Remember also that you don't have to (...) Thanks for the prompt reply. :) I am aware of the rotate buttons, and have been using them allot. I even reset the button for the axis I'm working with to step 1 instead of 15, to try and get it lined up. It's still not working. :) To give you an (...) Ken, this sounds like a bug in MLCad. I'll investigate that. The other point is that the next version of MLCad will support the offical color definitions based on the LDraw.org color standard. In the mean time you can do the following (so far I (...) (20 years ago, 11-Jul-04, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Can anyone answer this question ? Why does this happen. If I use a colour from the "More" section of the colorbar toolbar eg; Sand Green (378) or Sand Blue (379) that show as their correct names when I view them in the parts section at the top of (...) How does that scan_order thing work? I've added three more paths in mlcad.ini, but the parts in these folders don't show up anywhere in MLCad.
