I don't think the file extension will effect the actual functionality of
the file. Well, maybe if you called a DAT an MPD, things would act a
little weird. So, if you don't know the exact file type, try DAT.

The file-type isn't registered correctly. I don't know how to fix this,
but I wouldn't associate CGI with MLCAD.
