Hi everybody, this is an exploration ship that has a crew of 6, 2 scientists, 2 engineers, 1 pilot, and 1 rover operator/mechanic. I might be making a new program. It will be a program to take a ldraw .dat file and identify if there are any parts used in the model that are unofficial. How will it do this? I'd be happy with no refresh or a manual refresh on submodel images... it's fast enough to go out and come back in, that doing that would be good enough. Currently MlCad scannes a .dat file on its first access and cashes its data, these data are used for the preview which is not a problem since the data of a dat file do not change (at least not for MLCad during run-time). But the sub-models you (...) (25 years ago, 23-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Dear all i am new to converting files from dat to pov-ray and when i try to convert i get messages like could not find box5.dat referenced to ... also when i render my images in pov-ray i only get the boblles on the bricks and i do not get the whole (...) (25 years ago, 22-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad)

Is there a way to view LDraw DAT files that are posted to models directly from a web browser? To state it more clearly... I am using IE 5 to read LUGNET in it's web based format. Is there a way I can "read" the DAT files people post on the fly, or (...) (25 years ago, 22-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad)

(...) You are correct that the co-ordinates _should_ define a simple loop without crossing. The rendering algorithm in the original LDraw program was not sensitive to this, so errors crept into the parts files. There was a move some time back to (...) (25 years ago, 22-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
