  LDConfig.ldr + L3P 1.4 + POV-Ray 3.6.2 + fastrad.inc no longer producing nice results
 
I've been trying to use the fastrad.inc script with scenes generated by the new version (1.4) of L3P that supports LDConfig.ldr. However, the results are not nearly as attractive as they were with older versions of L3P. Anyone have an idea of what (...) (13 years ago, 18-Mar-11, to lugnet.cad.ray)

The recommended practice is to be faithful to the real part, eg. if the areas with background color are not printed, then use main color, otherwise use solid background color. (...) Where did you install the programs? Both Vista and Windows 7 treat the "C:\Program Files" folder hierarchy in a special, extra protected way. Many 'old' programs will work much better if installed outside of this folder, for example create (...) (13 years ago, 1-Mar-11, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Hi, I installed the LDVIEW 4.1.0.14 utility. With the initial setup, i could start LDVIEW. Anyhow, when i want to restart it after closing, it's no longer working. Hi Reuben, (...) 4-4rin18 and 4-4rin19 are official files, released in 2010 (2010-01 and 2010-02). Since you missed at least 2 releases, I'd suggest you reinstall the complete LDraw library. (...) Hi all, I'm working on a model that includes the part 55981.dat. This references the sub-part 55981s01.dat. Hi everyone, I've used a number of different programs to convert LDraw/MLCad files into other 3D formats (mainly DXF, OBJ and 3DS). The converters I've used are ldrdat2dxf, ldrdat2obj and 3DWin. Is there anyway to convert the stud parts in a model (...) (13 years ago, 27-Jan-11, to lugnet.cad)

Hi, I just updated the MLCad.ini file accordingly to the latest LDraw.org parts update 2010-03. The .ini file defines (among other things) the parts available in MLCad's minifigure generator. I just want to inform that MLCad does not handle the ~Moved to files in a good way. If you are asked for updating to newer parts the new reference will be written into your current file, but if there is any transformation this will not be taken into (...)
