I don't know too much about digital camera's or really where you could borrow them since I don't use them myself, I use LDRAW and MLCAD which, escpecially the latter, are like CAD programs and let you construct your model on your (...) Here's a little secret: Put a small, narrow strip of Saran Wrap around each end of the black friction pin. It'll work wonders for your mecha. You'll find that they can support much more weight this way. Enjoy. ~Mark (25 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

In a blur of Mlcading I completed a dat model of my J-21 Repair Mech (I like mech over mecha). The minifig operator of this mech seems to making claims about his prowess as a fisher. We-ellll.... ok, I'll admit it. I took the nearly-useless Throwbot shooter arms and cut them off near the ball-joint (where there's a technic axle shape) This allows them to be set into anything that can accept a technic axle.
