Ah the ever popular "gestalt" transformer.
I've thought about it, but I haven't attempted in recent times.
Perhaps I should.... hmmmm. Transforming Lego models are problematic in and
of themselves simply because they tend to become rather fragile. See the
Pandora in the mecha section of my website. It turned out rather well, for a
transforming mecha, but it still wasn't the most stable.
Perhaps I'll first attempt something that's a gestalt, and see if I can make
that work.... perhaps something with power suits. I dunno. I'll think about
it. Thanks for the suggestion

| (...) I've just started gathering and trading parts to attempt one (Thanks, Mike Fetsko!)... but don't hold your breath, as I'm only just still gathering parts for it so it's a long while off. Having said that, other people have definitely tried (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
