Personally, I use "mecha" as the plural form of "mech".  :)  For example, I'd
say "Your new mech is cool!" and "I really like all of your mecha!".  :D

The minifig operator of this mech seems to making claims about his prowess as
a fisher.  I can imagine him saying something like; "I swear the fish was THIS
big".
