Seconded. This site is awesome. I have one minor beef, which could be a Netscape problem... Dennis uses floating or "wrapped" pictures in which the text is supposed to flow around the pictures, but in some cases, at least on my NS 4.0x browser, the (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.build)

the first element is the top half of a 1x2 hinged brick. (top to side rotation) rather than the common 1x2 top however, it has a 2x2 top that is thinner than a plate. these are common in red, but i have one here that is black. i've been rackng my (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.build)

You are right that the set 810 does come in a timber storage box,(1966!!) however, ours is double thickness, holds two trays inside one on top of the other, these trays have many compartments and are full of basic. It must be one of the wooden box sets that Lego released long long ago (60s or 70s, I don't have my catalog scans CD with me right now).
