Apparently Alex de Lint, and his 5 meter minifig scale titanic was shown on
Torontonian TV today. My girlfriend saw it, and I'll try and get channel
information if anyone is interested!

Although, you'll probably have to munge the URL back together again.
Hopefully, it's only a matter of time before he discovers LUGNET (he's 13 or
14 now), and we can get some more pictures of his impressive work!

| (...) Wow! That's some ship! But here's the bit that struck me out of the article: "The Pickering Town Centre has shown an interest in displaying it, as has the Durham Board of Education. But the de Lints say Lego Canada Inc of Markham doesn't want (...) (25 years ago, 27-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.ca.on.tor, lugnet.build)

| In the Scarbourgh Town Center (East on the LRT) there is an amazing "Medieval Castle" on display by a young chap called Alex de Lint (13). He has used 99% standard bricks, but the curves and contours that he manages to capture without specialised (...) (25 years ago, 28-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.ca.on.tor)
