I'm not sure if a web site can (or should) access files directly on my
computer... but how about having an export/import function, so you
could keep a copy localy, and either download the new version when you
update on the site, or upload the new version if you made changes
offline?

One thing that I would like is for the actual personal data to be stored on my own computer. A directory on my computer to store this (...) (25 years ago, 16-Feb-00, to lugnet.admin.database)
