Re: Worm gear... whence the length?

(...) Hi Brian, obviously you are working hard on Nadar 2.0 :) Also read about your Little Joe free-fall on H.A.L.E and I wish you very good look with that! ;-) Two NXTs in one single mission is of great courage... For the worm gear issue I also (...) (16 years ago, 23-Jul-08, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Worm gear... whence the length?

Hi Brian, (...) I have used thin slices of LEGO corrugated tubes as washer for that. Works fine, but I can't guarantee it would work for a long time without wear... Philo (16 years ago, 23-Jul-08, to lugnet.robotics)

(16 years ago, 23-Jul-08, to lugnet.loc.se)

(16 years ago, 23-Jul-08, to lugnet.loc.se)

40% off sale at TRU (Racers, Exo-Force, Aquaraiders)

It is a bit of a stealth sale, as you have to really look for it to know it is there. The one page sheet available at the door (and online) shows: "40% off ALL* these LEGO brands. Exo-Force Racers Aqua Raiders *excludes clearance. Selection varies (...) (16 years ago, 23-Jul-08, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  NXT programming with Logo

I've been lurking with interest, teach intro robotics in middle school among other tech subjects, and wonder if any of you use the latest version of MicroWorlds EX Robotics, V 1.6, to program NXT robots. I just found out about that capability so (...) (16 years ago, 23-Jul-08, to lugnet.robotics)

On a side note, the at-the-time brother-in-law to be of Dan Rubin is actually a practioner of the Lion dancing. I begged him to have (...) (16 years ago, 23-Jul-08, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

Just an update. I got to run my SD Coaster train at the NMRA 2008 show. What a blast. But even more fun for me was seeing Swoofty's Metrolink version. Seems he never saw James Mathis version, and he based his on mine. I also got a chance to run my (...) (16 years ago, 23-Jul-08, to lugnet.trains)
