   Wow, have not really seen the word “pedant” used in a long while--maybe since studying for the SATs back in Age of Aquarius so I had to look it up again.

One who pays undue attention to book learning and formal rules. One who exhibits one’s learning or scholarship ostentatiously. a person who overemphasizes rules or minor details. a person who adheres rigidly to book knowledge without regard to common sense. a person who pays more attention to formal rules and book learning than they merit

Not sure it applies to you --but maybe I am wrong and your are--but had me fooled. But if you have some, you do not seem to have much of it. lol

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I do try to keep my inner pedant under control as much as possible ;)

But in this specific case I think pedant is quite applicable.
