Of late Ive noticed a resurgence in the use of minifig scale as a term.
Being a mathematically inclined pedant I tend to take issue with this term as

Ive always used the term minfig scale to differentiate from Miniland scale
to help explain that the vehicles, structures, and figures in Miniland at
LEGOLANDs are not the same as the vehicles, structures, and figures in LEGO
sets.
