I'd like to see a web page with ideas for modified parts like your blind- bushinged axle. I would love to see Lego come out with more geartrain parts, and if we could come up with a favorite set of modifications it might encourage them to make (...) (25 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

Tobbe, IIRC, the 12V motor was similar to the old 4.5V motor (around the same vintage), of which I have one, and which is similar in power to the 9V geared motors. The 4.5V one (and I think the 12V one also?) only has 4 holes for the really old (...) (25 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

The 8448 looks like a 4th gen Camaro to me. Front engine, V8, convertible, mag wheels, with the secret white plastic seat option you can only get through Lego-Chevy dealerships. The Lego version has more cup holders than the Chevy, and costs about (...) (25 years ago, 1-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

Tobbe, You could possibly use 2 of the Technic 3 bladed rotor parts, rotated 180 degrees from each other. This gives 6 blades, but 3 of them are set back 1 plate's depth. Well ... If you don't mind some small sticking-out bits, perhaps the 1/2 bushings and the steering arm piece with one hole at each end and the studs in between, plus some small 2 or 3 long axles would do the trick? Hey, Check out my page www.lcs.net/users/oglewood/ Go under "lego Ideas" and click on the two speed transmission. Also, I have tried it with four speeds (R-1-2-3) but it gets too big after that. Here is a transmission I've been working on. It has two forward speeds 5:1 and 1:3. If you run the motor one way, you get forward low gear. If you run the motor the other way, you get forward high gear. I am using a differental to split the two (...) (25 years ago, 20-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

I guess the LEGO Studios movie maker <set:1349> is shipping October 1st according to S@H. Does anyone know if the camera is the same as in the Vision Command set?
