Wow! How strong is it? Compared to the new-style geared 9V motor. Is

| Tobbe, IIRC, the 12V motor was similar to the old 4.5V motor (around the same vintage), of which I have one, and which is similar in power to the 9V geared motors. The 4.5V one (and I think the 12V one also?) only has 4 holes for the really old (...) (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

| I found a black old style technic motor in a local shop(servicepack) At the time, i thougt it was a plain 4.5 volt type, but later discovered that it was a 12 volt motor. Have this motor appeared in another set than 880? Any information, history (...) (24 years ago, 28-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)
