Me too, I know when to eat my own craw (?!?!?) I definitely did not
think they'd do a Slave I - that is, I figured it was a case of people
trying to wish something into existence. Of course, some us might argue
that it's not a "real" Slave I anyways - for an idea of the scale (or
lack thereof) check out:

That nit being said, I have to say I kind of like TLG's Slave I. I
figure with 3 or 4 of these sets, a full-scale (minifig scale, that is)
is definietly doable, provided that some solution to the windshield
becomes apparent. Same with the desert skiff.
As for the Millenium Falcon, I've definitely got low expectations. That
way, I won't be disappointed :)

| (...) Cool! Thanks for the heads-up. Hard to say from the pictures so far, but it sure looks like the 2000 sets are less appealing than this years. (for system, anyway - the technic sets look fantastic!) Yeah, I think they're all small. That A-wing (...) (25 years ago, 21-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)
