Guess we're a minority Paul.... I took me about four months to build my
crane, and as soon as it was finished and I showed all the functions twice I
lost the interest. It survived a few weeks, until the first opportunity to
do photographs outside. Took it apart the same night....
I couldn't be bothered to put a model in CAD. It would probably take me
longer than the actual model (That's a 2500+ pieces technic for the
crane....). Pictures should be enough. The best fun is working out how to do
solve things anyway....
Maybe in a few jobs from now, when I have unlimited spending money, I'll
change my mind.....

| (...) Good question. I'm of the build, photograph, and disassemble school of thought - most MOCs stay together for a few weeks and then get recylced back into the collection. I don't cannabalize models for the parts I need - once it starts to come (...) (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)
