  Imperial Inspection available at Shop@Home...

I guess this is (hopefully) 1 of 2 sets to be produced this year for the Old Trilogy. It is availabe in North American markets for $50.00 US, (or $70.00 Canadian). (URL) Ben Medinets (20 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Naboo Starfighter in Technic figure scale

(...) Nice! I really like the curve just behind the cockpit curving back toward the tail. Good lines there. Too bad there's no real way to get better contrast between the yellow and gray, though - I'm spoiled by the chrome effect of the UCS (...) (20 years ago, 9-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Naboo Starfighter in Technic figure scale

Here's a Naboo Starfighter in technic figure scale. (URL) I thought after I bought the first minifigure-sized Naboo starfighter kit that a model of this ship could do with more detail and gentler angles. I got a book of the cut-away drawings of some (...) (20 years ago, 9-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

Question about 10131, the TIE fighter squadron set

A quick question to anyone who has purchased that set: Are the greys in that set the old greys, or the new greys? -Avery (20 years ago, 8-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars)

MINI Model No. 50 - Cloud City!

Hello dear fellows! I hereby announce my MINI Star Wars model No. 50! It is another one from the Original Trilogy which I had not designed yet: Cloud City!   Re: Modding the new LEGO lightup minifig

(...) Ooh good thought. What might be even neater is if the blade itself is removable, so that when you put the blade in, it lights up. That would be even more movie-realistic. ~Kevoh (20 years ago, 5-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.parts.mod)

Re: Modding the new LEGO lightup minifig

(...) Rob, my favourite line on your page: "Modding LEGO's rendition of my LifeLites minifigs" LMAO!! Stick it to 'em :] That "trash-can-lid" minifig head on the TLC version is bizarre. I can't believe they didn't make the batteries replaceable. (...) (20 years ago, 5-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.parts.mod)

Modding the new LEGO lightup minifig

Finally! I got my hands on one of the new LEGO produced lightup figs. You know what comes next - MUTILATION!!! First, some observations of the LEGO version: The packaging states the batteries are not replaceable. With a little work, you can pry off (...)   Re: New Episode III sets, and a missing piece or two

(...) I just finished building mine. Only the exact parts were included, none were missing and none were left over (first time ever that I can think of in my 19 years of building lego) -Juan (20 years ago, 4-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars)

  Set 7263: TIE Fighter Box

I saw set 7263 for the first time in stores[1] today. The packaging is fantastic! Not the "Try Me" packaging[2]. The box is two-sided, with "front" printing on both large sides! Even better, the printing is oriented so that, depending on which side (...) (20 years ago, 2-Feb-05, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.starwars)

Re: Tantive IV Rebel Blockade Runner set sized version

Impressive, I can already sence the Force within you. I like the scaled-down solutions you've found for almost any of the characteristic features on the official LEGO set. With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (20 years ago, 1-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.org.us.sealug)
