I find it hilarious that the text for this set says: "Darth Vader commands
this ship" when he never flew a regular TIE. He had his own ship, and TLG
made the set. This is the kind of thing that bothered me even as a kid. I
always thought to myself: "Doesn't anybody actually watch the movies?" Like
when they first started making Star Wars toys, the TIE laser was red, but
it's green in the movies. Small detail, but hey, I was only 8 years old and
I noticed. Why can't these supposed adults get these things correct? Oh
wait, we're talking about adveritising people. I'm sorry, forget I posted
this.

| (...) He never flew a ship like this in the movies, but how do you know what he did in his off hours? We never see him go to the bathroom either, but I wouldn't object to the assertion that he must have had one somewhere. I find it interesting that (...) (20 years ago, 11-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars)
