I find it interesting that nobody's commenting on the light-up lightsaber.
That's pretty cool, something only previously available in custom mods as far as
I know.  The last light-up lightsaber I saw for sale went for almost $100 on
eBay, and this is just one component of a $20 set.

Does anyone know more about how it works?  Do you really have to hold his head
down to make it light up, or is it a toggle switch?  And to what extent can you
take it apart (e.g., substitute a different color blade)?

Seems to me that there will have to be a light-up Luke or Obiwan in the pipeline
now...

Best,

My guess is that it works the same as in the 7237 Police station. There is one
officer that has a light-up torch and his hand looks the same as Vaders hand.. I
own that one and you have to keep the head down yourself if you want the light
to stay on.
Perhaps this will help increase the life of the battery inside?
Also, the light inside the hand is white. If you use different color blades, you
will get different color lights. Well, obviously only of you use trans-color
blades ;-)

(...) Guys, look back a dozen posts and you'll see a thread called "Modding the new LEGO lightup minifig", by the original creator of light-up light sabres (not TLC!). There you shall learn all. ;] KDJ ___...___ LUGNETer #203 (20 years ago, 13-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars)

We never see him go to the bathroom either, but I wouldn't object to the assertion that he must have had one somewhere. I find it interesting that (...) (20 years ago, 11-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars)
