I live in a 2 room townhouse and my spare bedroom is my Lego Storage
Facility (LSF) and building room.
The table I am building on is 30" x 90". So I have plenty of room.

As I mentioned, the problem with the table is width, as I wanted a larger
saucer than a 30" wide table could provide :)

I am not an expert at modularizing myself. This project is going be a lot of
trial and error. I have no time table to complete it, except before I drop
dead of old age. I agree, I liked Dan's corridors also. I am a very detail
oriented person. I also plan on lighting the inside at strategic places.

When you're mentioned lighting ... do you mean a little translucent
greeblie, or do you mean lighting lighting?  I'd like to do that for the
sections of the ship with windows, but I wouldn't know how to proceed :)

I agree with details ... I don't like plain boring walls.  The corridors,
for instance, are going to be very detailed (I'm looking forward to building
THEM the best (for some odd reason) ... for example, I'm including "pressure
doors" to contain hull breaches, and interdeck ladders (as well as a
simplistic turbolift system ... up and down).  :)

I do not have a Brickshelf Gallery yet, or a digital camera, or a working
scanner, but I will be taking a lot of color pictures the old fashioned way,
and post them later. I am planning on purchasing a digital camera in August.

I am also lacking in both a scanner and a digital camera.  I plan on
obtaining a DC sometime this summer, but I'm in no rush for a scanner.
Brickshelf is great!  I've had my account for about three years, but it has
seen little progress due to my lack of ability to build!  (Also due to my
crappy little webcam with which I've been forced to take the pics ...)
