Not everyone in Datsville builds at the same scale? This I must have missed.
IIRC they are working in minifig scale, and the town is built on the standard 32
X 32 baseplates with roads, etc. It has been a few months since I visited. I
should go over and check again.

Agreed. Let's try it out first. Don't worry about story lines or compatible
technologies for now. If we like what we get, we can do round two, with these
additional details.
But I must confess a desire to choose a standard scale, and for that to be
minifig scale. It only makes sense to discuss docking ports if we are working
in a single scale.

Do also read "A Canticle for Leibowitz," a classic 1959 sci-fi story by Walter
Miller. It's not heavy on action in space, but it addresses the interaction
between church and technology in a very interesting way.

| (...) I also like minifig scale, and use microfig scale only when I want something depicted for which I lack the number of bricks, either practically (see also: WTB: (2) 928 Galaxy Explorers) or fantastically (see also: Building your own minifig (...) (25 years ago, 22-Feb-00, to lugnet.space)
