Hmmm, it seems to be correctly passing -TRCX2 on the command line in my
testing. I haven't actually tested with a brick containing the RCX2
firmware, but when I put an RCX2-only command in a program it compiles fine
when I've selected RCX2 but I get an error when I select another brick type.
Can you email me the program that doesn't compile for you? I can send you
an RCXCC.EXE that has a /DEBUG command-line parameter which will cause it to
display a message showing what it is passing to NQC.

I'm pretty sure I had the joystick and the direct control windows working
for the scout once upon a time. I'll have to test it again. Hopefully,
I'll get a chance to look at it by Monday. Most of my efforts have been
related to getting NQC support for the scout and RCX2 into RcxCC. I really
haven't done much to the other features of RcxCC.

I haven't yet taken a stab at modifying the help file. One of these days... :-)
Thanks for your comments,

| John, Seems like support for the scout is pretty complete except for the target command line option when compiling a program. I have written some programs that compile clean using nqc, but generate syntax errors for Scout specific commands when (...) (24 years ago, 7-May-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)
