  Re: resistor pull-up help!

the exp bd inputs plug into the inputs on the main HB. so you still have to remove the pullup on the main HB. just cut the short trace on the underside of the board between the signal input pin and the pullup resistor. f.   Re: handy board troubles...

Actually Jake, I'm having a similar problem right now, with regard to loss of RAM capabilities. I've been testing a new Polaroid 6500 sonar (which now works!) on the HB and I've got it hooked up through the exp. board. I tried to run a simple (...)   resistor pull-up help!

Hi all, I'm trying to connect a pair of GP2D12 to my handyboard. I know there is an issue with the handyboard pull-up resistors and these devices so I figured I'll try to use the unused LEGO sensor connectors on my expansion board (I don't have any (...)   RE: Required tools for assembly

Bob: If you have major problems with the handyboard you would have better luck with a logic analyzer than with an oscilloscope, however, I have build two handy boards successfully without any of these tools straight out of the box.   Required tools for assembly

Can somebody please tell if it is absolutely necessary to have an oscilliscope for the assembly of and H board? If so, what are my INEXPENSIVE options/suppliers?   handy board troubles...

Hi, A while ago I shorted out my handy board which caused the ram chip to fry. I've since replaced it, and the board boots again, but I am now seeing other strange behaviour. Hi, I would like to use step motors in my robot and have had success using the MC3479 stepper motor IC, it is simple to use, just needs a direction bit and a pulse, but I really don't know how to program my hb to do this.   Re: Non-polaroid Sonar

(...) No, that's a very good question. It had me confused, too. The second argument to bit_set and bit_clear is not actually the index of a bit at all; it's a bit mask.   Re: Overcharge Battery

Im going to jump in here on this one and give an opinion. C/10 for a NiCd is a little much for a trickle charge. C/10 on NiCd's is usually considered more of a trimming type of charge following a higher charge rate of C or C/2 to put the bulk of the (...)
