for those of you who are talking about not wanting to purchase a hand-held,
you may want to do a litle research again.  if you check the archives there
is a thread (in this group) that has a reference to windowsCE.  i have usex
this and it does work, included in the *.zip (from someone else) was a
work-around for the ir tower because the built-in ones are only IRDA
compliant.  if someone asks i could put it on my public ftp

You mean for creating a custom LED setup for the Serial port? No IR tower?
Please post a link to this 'extra' info. Thanks

now, i know that there are lots of people that have a problem with windows,
especially CE, but i don't care.  this isn't to try to get into the debate,
but if you have a windowsCE device there are learning remotes and
work-arounds for just about everyproblem right now that would even be
addressed for hand-helds.  there should be just about the same for palms, i
don't know.

Yes, M$ always leaves a bad taste in my mouth but I have many friends with the
Cassiopeia's e-100's and 105's. I see they are up to 125's now. It's a very
nice unit. Almost $900 CDN mind you. (As reference, the Agenda is aprox $280
CDN).

How well is the CE software being kept up? (As in incorporating new NQC
versions)
