Do you have Lucida Typewriter? Try setting your fixed-width font to default to
that...its a bit easier on the eyes than Courier.

Roman face is nice because its a little easier on the eyes, esp. as was
formatted on Lugnet previously.

Well, the only consolation I can offer today is a promise that were making
movements towards CSS, which means that (sometime this summer) youll be able
to set it to Times Roman if you prefer that.

To me its very much the case that you have fixed something that wasnt
broken.

For many people, though, Times Roman was very broken, and has been since we
made the switch from Courier to Times Roman back in 1998 or 1999. Columns dont
line up at all in a proportional-space font. Theres been no end to the
confusion caused by Times Roman over the years.
