If there is a link to an image I have the choice of whether or not to
spend the time and bandwidth to view it. People on high-speed connections
probably dont care one way or the other, but many of us are on dial-up
connections. I at least have a 56K connection, but many areas cant even get
that level of service.

What if there were an option you could set which prevented the inline display of
images that are larger than some size you specify?

| (...) That would be fine as long as it's setting that persists across sessions. Zero should be a valid choice! Hopefully the links for the images that get filtered would be clickable to view the image. (Not sure what you would do if the image was (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.publish, FTX)
